Mara ~ Merino,alpaca,silk blend
This single ply yarn is an amazingly soft and cushy 40/40/20 blend of
Merino, Alpaca and
silk. I would consider this to be a DK weight yarn.
I used this yarn for the very first time when I made my Mara shawl...hence the name.
Each skein has approx. 250 yards and the recommended needle size is US 7-9
As these yarns are individually dyed, color lots can differ from skein to skein. If you are ordering for a special project, just let me know and I will dye all of the skeins in the same pot, so that the dyelot is the same.
